According the 2009 TSAT, 58% of teachers use technology within their classrooms at least once a week. This is up 8% from 2008.

Teachers collaborated formally & informally to apply at least one Web 2.0 tool to their teaching & learning environment. Professional development, train the trainer model, as well as Inst. Technology support services were dedicated to this initiative.

The district provides one FTE instructional technology teacher per 60-120 instructional staff.

Instructional Technology Specialist (grant funded), Media Specialist, Curriculum Supervisors, Tech Dir PrK-12, and VP’s at Alden and DMS provide tech instruction for staff.
Teachers serve as train-the-trainer tech leaders at each school.
